The Number 12 Look Like You is a genre-defining mathcore band going back to the early 2000s. I was lucky enough to join this embodiment of musical chaos in 2023.

An internationally touring progressive rock septet, whose most recent critically acclaimed album Terraformer landed at #73 overall on Billboard and #8 on the Alternative Rock charts. I was an active composer and member for TYS starting in 2015, finally stepping down in late 2025.

Glass Garden

Glass Garden is an experimental hip-hop fusion project led by composer John Kadian and vocalist Idris Hoffman, which also features Faye Fadem on drums. The albums are rich with horns and strings, including a lot of familiar faces from the world of We Used to Cut the Grass.

 

Karmic jUggernaut

A longstanding psych/prog band that has been deeply rooted in the Asbury Park music scene for over 10 years. Karmic’s most recent album The Dreams That Stuff Are Made Of won Best Jam/Funk/Fusion Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.

(FORMER) Homeless Apians

A conceptual trio based on the premise of spreading environmental awareness through music; all the sounds are created by instruments built out of repurposed garbage, with recordings made using 100% solar power. The project disbanded around 2020 due to pandemic complications, but Matt Brown continues to compose in the band’s spiritual successor, Heavy Mouth, featuring co-composer Mike Rainone.
